Solution for treating dead animal bodies

Traditional methods release odors and biohazards.

EASE’s modular autoclaves

  • Fully sealed, odor-free.

  • ~400 kg/hour per unit.

  • Generates biogas from fat residues for self-powered sterilization.

EASE solution

In Canada, animals died because of diseases such as BSE or bird flu will be completely destroyed by either incineration or landfill after sterilization (see Health of Animals Act). Other developed countries such as Germany will recycle part of the body after high pressure and temperature sterilization. However, most of the factory that treat dead animal bodies does not conduct the process in a completely closed environment and result in stinky smell spreads out.

Adopting autoclave technology and resulting in generated biogas in a fully enclosed process, eliminating odor emissions. Key features:

1.Modular units: Each independent module processes ~400 kg/hour of dead animal body, suitable for on-site farm disposal.

2.Complete enclosure: Fully sealed and automatically operation from carcass input to residue discharge, preventing odor release.

3.Self-sustaining energy: Residual fats from sterilized waste produce biogas, fueling steam boilers to meet sterilization demands.

Process flow

1. The dead animal body is loaded into the loading chamber of the autoclave by a robotic arm.
2. The dead animal body is then shredded and fall to the sterilizing chamber of the autoclave.
3. Saturated steam is then injected to sterilize shredded animal scraps and the whole autoclave at the same time.
4. The oil-water mixture is then discharged from the bottom liquid outlet and sent to the oil-waste separator to produce oil. The scraps are then discharged from the discharging door at the bottom to the fermentation biogas production system. Another option is All crushed and high-temperature sterilized mixtures are discharged to the fermentation biogas production system.
